A group of young ladies arranged to go to mother-in-law camp to know and understand each other better. The mothers-in-law traveled on one bus while the daughters-in-law went on another. The mother-in-law bus hit some ice and spun off a high cliff, killing all aboard. When the daughters-in-law learned of the accident, they broke out in tears, but one woman wailed uncontrollably. Another woman asked, "Forgive me, dear, but you must have been so close to your mother-in-law." She replied, "Not at all. My mother-in-law missed the bus!"
The doctor told the husband, waiting for news about his wife's examination, "I have good news and bad news." "What's the good news?" "Your wife has syphilis." "Good lord, doc! If that's the good news, what's the bad news?" "She didn't get it from you!"
