I admire the patience of those recent phone hackers. Sometimes I don't even take the time to check my own voicemail!
The grandparents paying for their grandson's education paid an unannounced visit to his college dorm. They were astonished to learn their grandson was living a life of sin, corruption, and debauchery, as exhibited by a very high-heeled shoe nailed over the doorway, half-empty liquor bottles, and lacy feminine undergarments strewn around the room. Grandfather grumbled, "In my day, we'd hang a horseshoe over the door for good luck and then study late at night." "But, gramps -- that is a whore's shoe!"
